Renegade Angel – Journey into Madness Video

Fronted by Jani Pöysä, Renegade Angel is an exciting new project which features galvanised riffs, gritty vocal runs and melodic metal. They’ve been carving a name for themselves in their native Finland and despite their recent inception, they’ve already garnered attention online and have received glowing reviews.
Renegade Angel features some of the finest musicians on the circuit, with each one being handpicked by Pöysä, ensuring that his vision will be executed with finesse and professionalism. Some familiar names include Lukky Sparxx of the heavy glam outfit Exxocet and trailblazing bassist Charles Berthoud.
Their debut single is a hurricane of hard hitting riffs, brutal percussion and a ferocious vocal performance from metal powerhouse Alejandro Fernandez. A well-known name within the metal scene, Fernandez navigates immense vocals and swirly synth sections with ease.The layered sound effects heighten the tone, subsequently adding more dimension to the beastly track.
‘Journey into Madness’ explores mortality and maintaining a level head during trying times. A bold and rugged debut single from the outfit, setting the pace for more dynamic and genre-bending influences to seep through.
Opting for a more traditional metal composition, it leaves listeners with an air of familiarity whilst still bringing a fresh perspective to the genre. This is amplified by the solid and punchy drumbeat, soaring guitar solos and throbbing bass lines. It’s fierce, mammoth and has clear nods to the forefathers of metal.
‘Journey into Madness’ was be digitally released on Spotify and other streaming platforms on the 28th August 2020 and was remixed and produced by Jonas Brantryd on Rollin Sound Studios in Sweden. The new version was released on the 6th of June 2021. There is also a new version in Spanish that feature powerful female vocals of Romina Barba.

Επιλέγοντας μια πιο παραδοσιακή μεταλλική σύνθεση, αφήνει στους ακροατές έναν αέρα οικειότητας ενώ παράλληλα φέρνει μια νέα προοπτική στο είδος. Αυτό ενισχύεται από το στιβαρό και διαπεραστικό drumbeat, τα σόλο κιθάρας στα ύψη και τις παλλόμενες γραμμές μπάσων. Είναι άγριο, μαμούθ και έχει σαφή νεύμα στους προγόνους του μετάλλου.
Το «Journey into Madness» κυκλοφόρησε ψηφιακά στο Spotify και σε άλλες πλατφόρμες ροής στις 28 Αυγούστου 2020 και αναπαραγωγή και παραγωγή από τον Jonas Brantryd στα Rollin Sound Studios στη Σουηδία. Η νέα έκδοση κυκλοφόρησε στις 6 Ιουνίου 2021. Υπάρχει επίσης μια νέα έκδοση στα ισπανικά που διαθέτει ισχυρά γυναικεία φωνητικά της Romina Barba.
