The debut album of Pinemoon is set to be released on Friday the 29th of January 2021 on LIVE TALENT Records. The melancholic and nostalgic sound creates a frame around an existential theme about the feeling of confusion and disappointment when a firm worldview diminishes and changes in the reality of life.
The melancholy flows in the melodic and evocative shoegaze that Copenhagen based Pinemoon brings on their debut album, “Miracle”, that will be released on the 29th of January 2021 on the German record label LIVE TALENT Records. Pinemoon draws on the energy of indie rock and are not afraid of letting the songs take their time to develop into dreamy arrangements that bring Slowdive, Pale Saints and even the cult series of David Lynch, Twin Peaks, to mind. In spite of mentioned references, Pinemoon still manages to find their very own and unique sound.
Pinemoon is a constellation of experienced musicians, who have been playing together for 20 years in different musical projects, and therefore their live concerts are characterized by intimacy and energy.
The debut album entitled ‚Miracle’ is recorded live on tape and mixed analog, which gives a warm, nostalgic sound and ensures that the music will emerge real and tastefully stylish.
The melancholic and nostalgic foundation is not only a musical tone, but it is also inextricably linked to the existential theme of the album. The members of Pinemoon are raised in strong christian environments, where the confident belief in divine interventions in life crises and bad situations didn’t leave much space for doubting. The theme of the album circles around the feeling of confusion and disappointment when a firm belief and anchored worldview meets the reality of life.
The theme song, “Miracle”, can therefore be interpreted as a critical reflection on where the members of Pinemoon comes from, while songs like “Long Dive” holds a hope of finding rest and reconcile with a difficulty, where everything seems different from what you’ve been told. The melody-driven song ‚Sinister‘ has been picked as focus track along with a unique ambition video and will be promoted on radios around the globe.
Pinemoon’s debut album is set to be released on vinyl and all digital music services on Friday the 29th of January 2021.
Το ντεμπούτο άλμπουμ του Pinemoon πρόκειται να κυκλοφορήσει την Παρασκευή 29 Ιανουαρίου 2021 από LIVE TALENT Records.
Ο μελαγχολικός και νοσταλγικός ήχος δημιουργεί ένα πλαίσιο γύρω από ένα υπαρξιακό θέμα σχετικά με το αίσθημα σύγχυσης και απογοήτευσης όταν μια σταθερή κοσμοθεωρία μειώνεται και αλλάζει στην πραγματικότητα της ζωής.
Η μελαγχολία ρέει στο μελωδικό και υποβλητικό παπούτσι που φέρνει το Pinemoon με έδρα την Κοπεγχάγη στο πρώτο τους άλμπουμ, «Miracle», το οποίο θα κυκλοφορήσει στις 29 Ιανουαρίου 2021 στη γερμανική δισκογραφική εταιρεία LIVE TALENT Records.
Οι Pinemoon βασίζεται στην ενέργεια του indie rock και δεν φοβάται να αφήσει τα τραγούδια να πάρουν το χρόνο τους για να εξελιχθούν σε ονειρικές ρυθμίσεις που φέρνουν στο μυαλό τους Slowdive, Pale Saints και ακόμη και τις λατρευτικές σειρές του David Lynch, Twin Peaks. Παρά τις αναφερόμενες αναφορές, ο Pinemoon καταφέρνει να βρει τον δικό του και μοναδικό ήχο. Οι Pinemoon είναι ένας αστερισμός έμπειρων μουσικών, που παίζουν μαζί για 20 χρόνια σε διάφορα μουσικά έργα, και ως εκ τούτου οι ζωντανές συναυλίες τους χαρακτηρίζονται από οικειότητα και ενέργεια.
Το ντεμπούτο άλμπουμ με τίτλο ‚Miracle’ ηχογραφείται ζωντανά σε κασέτα και αναλογικά, το οποίο δίνει έναν ζεστό, νοσταλγικό ήχο και διασφαλίζει ότι η μουσική θα αναδυθεί πραγματικά και καλαίσθητα. Η μελαγχολική και νοσταλγική βάση δεν είναι μόνο ένας μουσικός τόνος, αλλά συνδέεται επίσης άρρηκτα με το υπαρξιακό θέμα του άλμπουμ.
Τα μέλη του Pinemoon μεγάλωσαν σε ισχυρά χριστιανικά περιβάλλοντα, όπου η πεποίθηση στις θεϊκές παρεμβάσεις σε κρίσεις ζωής και κακές καταστάσεις δεν άφησε πολύ χώρο για αμφιβολίες. Το θέμα του άλμπουμ περιβάλλει το αίσθημα σύγχυσης και απογοήτευσης όταν μια σταθερή πεποίθηση και κοσμοθεωρία συναντά την πραγματικότητα της ζωής. Το θεματικό τραγούδι, "Miracle", μπορεί επομένως να ερμηνευτεί ως κριτική σκέψη από πού προέρχονται τα μέλη του Pinemoon, ενώ τραγούδια όπως το "Long Dive" ελπίζουν να βρουν ξεκούραση και να συμφιλιωθούν με μια δυσκολία, όπου όλα φαίνονται διαφορετικά από αυτά σου είπαν. Το τραγούδι που βασίζεται στη μελωδία «Sinister» έχει επιλεγεί ως κομμάτι εστίασης μαζί με ένα μοναδικό βίντεο φιλοδοξίας και θα προβάλλεται σε ραδιόφωνα σε όλο τον κόσμο.
Το ντεμπούτο άλμπουμ του Pinemoon πρόκειται να κυκλοφορήσει σε βινύλιο και σε όλες τις υπηρεσίες ψηφιακής μουσικής την Παρασκευή 29 Ιανουαρίου 2021.
