Οι Gray Merchant κυκλοφορούν το νέο άλμπουμ τους The Claude Glass και νέο single Anthropocene

Οι Gray Merchant ανακοινώνουν την κυκλοφορία του δεύτερου άλμπουμ τους που ηχογραφήθηκε το δεύτερο εξάμηνο του 2019, με τίτλο «The Claude Glass» στις 29 Φεβρουαρίου 2020. Το συγκρότημα των πέντε μελών που εδρεύει στο Cork της Ιρλανδίας, παρουσιάζει ένα εκλεκτικό μείγμα κιθάρων με γνώμονα τα κοινωνικά και προσωπικά θέματα, με τα πέντε μέλη να συνεισφέρουν στα τραγούδια και τις συνεργασίες με τον Pete Mac (Paradox) και Kieran Ring (Neon Atlas). Μίξη από τον Ciarán O ' Shea ( Cyclefly , Bush) στο Whitewell Studios Berlin και ηχογραφήθηκε  στο Abbey Road Studios με τον Alex Wharton (Pixies, My Bloody Valentine, Chemical Brothers). Το «The Claude Glass» αντικατοπτρίζει ποικίλες επιρροές από τον Kyuss στον John Grant στον δημόσιο ραδιοτηλεοπτικό φορέα.

Πρίν από την κυκλοφορία του άλμπουμ οι Gray Merchant, έβγαλαν σε κυκλοφορία στις 16 Φεβρουαρίου στο Spotifiy/iTunes κ.λ.π. ένα τραγούδι από το άλμπουμ με τίτλο «Anthropocene» που δείχνει τις pop και indie τάσεις της ομάδας.

Το άλμπουμ κυκλοφορεί στις 29 Φλεβάρη, με την μπάντα να γιορτάζει την επέτειο με μια ζωντανή παράσταση στο Crane Lane Θέατρο του Cork στις 2 Μαρτίου στις 11 το βράδυ . Support για τους Kieran Ring και τους Paradox.

The Grey Merchant announce the release their second album 'The Claude Glass' February 29 2020. Recorded during the second half of 2019, the five piece band based in Cork present an eclectic mix of guitar-driven tracks exploring social and personal themes, with all five members contributing to the song-writing duties, and collaborations with Pete Mac ( PARADOX ) and Kieran Ring ( Neon Atlas ). Mixed by Ciarán O’Shea (Cyclefly, Bush) at Whitewell Studios Berlin, and mastered at Abbey Road Studios with Alex Wharton (Pixies, My Bloody Valentine, Chemical Brothers), The Claude Glass reflects diverse influences from Kyuss to John Grant to Public Service Broadcasting.

The album goes on release on February 29th, with the band celebrating the occasion with a rare live performance at Cork’s Crane Lane Theatre on March 2nd at 11 pm.
